FLX® RC combines the fast, low-stretch characteristics expected from modern UHMWPE bowstring fibers with a construction specifically formulated for recurve, traditional and longbow strings.

Its colour-doped construction embeds the colour into the fiber itself, producing strong, solid colours with very low colour migration and minimal risk of marking clothing.

The fiber receives our controlled pre-stretch treatment to improve stability before string construction.

Because the colour is embedded into the fiber itself, FLX® RC does not rely on a heavy external colour coating.

During serving, the FLX® colour does not bleed through or show between the serving wraps, helping stringmakers achieve a cleaner, more uniform finished serving.

The cleaner fiber construction also means virtually no loose colour residue during production, helping keep serving winders, string jigs and other stringmaking tools cleaner.

FLX® RC is available in a wide range of colors and supplied in 250-meter spools.

Bowstrings are built by length, not by weight. For the stringmaker, the useful value of a spool is the amount of usable material available for production.

With its intentionally low wax content, FLX® RC avoids unnecessary weight from excess wax.

You are paying for usable meters, not wax at the price of the fibre.
